It has been a big year for Seon Mobile Surveillance. We have our loyal customers to thank for our growth. The requests for more advanced features and for systems with more capabilities have been hugely encouraging to our research engineers. That encouragement has led to the debut of new products, accessories and features. Seon aims to continuously work at improving our Mobile Surveillance Systems – to keep their places at the top of the industry.
In the past 12 months our family of products has expanded from the Scout™ VCR System, the Trooper® Digital VideoRecorder (DVR) System, and the Trooper 9-Channel DVR System to include the Explorer™ DVR System.
Debuting in the Basic and Plus models in March 2006, the Explorer uses industry leading technology, including MPEG4 compression recording, to offer higher quality and longer recordings. Valuable customer feedback has allowed Seon to develop even more features and improvements for 2007 to ultimately make the Explorer even better.
We have had the privilege to hear how our systems are directly impacting safety and security in our communities. Our systems have been hugely successful in helping our customers capture an array of incidents from combating crime to inappropriate transportation behavior. From Columbia, S.C., Seon received some valuable feedback on just how rugged our machines are – recently our Explorer system survived an engine fire that destroyed a school bus – no one was injured. In Florida, a stabbing that occurred at a school bus stop was caught on tape by one of our cameras. Our cameras also helped in a similar crime in West Virginia last year.
Seon believes that morale and team building are essential to a productive workplace. Throughout the year staff tournaments, contests, special events and charity programs help foster teamwork. The employee-generated projects allow our staff to participate in the events they want. With the support of management these events are integrated into the work day creating a supportive and positive work environment.
The social committee is headed up by the familiar voice of Margrette – our queen of customer service. From sports tournaments to Easter egg decorating to a monthly 50/50 draw – where funds help employee charities or go towards future events – Seon employees come together at least once a month for some fun and relaxation.
