So far 2007 has been a banner year for all of us at Seon Design. In the past few months we have expanded our offices and IMS Research named Seon as the world's leading supplier of bus and coach mobile video surveillance and the global No. 4 provider of surveillance equipment to all mobile markets.

"It's certainly a long way from the early days of working from a home office eight years ago," said Ian Radziejewski, president. "We knew we were gaining market share each year, but this report confirms the progress Seon has made."

The independent UK--based IMS Research – a global electronics industry research firm – released the report The World Market for Mobile Video Surveillance Equipment in April stating Seon has more than 17 percent of the world's bus and coach surveillance market and more than 23 percent of the market in the Americas. We also hold six percent of the global mobile surveillance market.

Along with ground breaking, rugged camera designs, we lead the industry with innovations specifically for the mobile market such as Smart-Temp™, Smart-Link&trade and wireless access. Using the latest MPEG4 technology and hard drive capacities of up to 750 GB, our DVRs can record up to eight cameras for many days of service. The demand for such systems led to a corporate expansion this April.

"This is the next step in our long-term plan," said Ian. "This is our third expansion in the past two years alone. We have seen so much sales growth that we needed to increase our production, quality control and service facilities."

Staffing has nearly doubled every year for the past two years and growth is expected to continue beyond 2007. With major additions to our transit sales division, Seon has received a number of significant transit contracts from Canada and the United States in the past six months.

Seon's head office, R&D and production facility is now over 36,000 sq. feet. On-site, Seon manufactures mobile surveillance systems including cameras, DVRs and VCRs. Our systems are used throughout North America in public and pupil transportation systems, as well as onboard elevators.

"We are not only able to bring in more staff to meet our production and sales needs, but we are providing even better facilities for our valued team," said Ian. "With expanded fitness and lounge facilities we are working to enhance our company community just as much as our production."

We also continue to expand our sales staff to keep pace with our latest expansion.

"This is an exciting time for us," said Ian. "Some US state legislators are discussing making video surveillance mandatory on school buses. That would be yet another big driver of growth in the industry. We are now poised and more ready than ever to respond to such product demand."

Seon has recently expanded its product line to include wireless access and the new 8-Channel Explorer DVR.
