Coquitlam, BC – 7 September 2006 – Seon Design Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Ericka Garza, to the position of Projects Manager. Ms Garza joins Seon with a solid foundation in quality assurance and manufacturing engineering gained from both Mexico and Canada.
Reporting to Mike Vader, Operations Manager at Seon Design, Ms Garza said, “This is a great opportunity for me – to join a company that has expanded so much in recent years. I plan to help Seon continue with such phenomenal growth by implementing a new lean manufacturing strategy and improve the overall manufacturing process.” With extensive experience in manufacturing, quality and operations Ms Garza continuously pursues academic and professional training to stay at the leading edge of her field.

With Ericka joining our project management group, we are confident we have an exceptional team to lead our manufacturing in its continued growth for the coming years.”
Ms Garza completed her Bachelors degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, in Mexico in 1999. She joined General Electric – Industrial Systems in 2000, where she rapidly excelled working in the positions of Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer, Production Supervisor and Engineer before being promoted to Operations Superintendent. Following that stellar start to her career Ms Garza joined Kemet Electronics, a leading electronics components manufacturer in March of 2003.
Ms Garza will be based out of Seon’s corporate headquarters in Coquitlam, BC.
