Coquitlam, BC – 7 September 2006 – Seon Design Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mel Gerhard Schroth, MBA, to the position of Quality Assurance Manager. Bringing more than 10 years of electronics engineering experience and involvement in operations in Europe and Asia, Mr Schroth’s wealth of practical skills is a great addition to Seon Design Inc.’s growing staff.
Mr Ian Radziejewski, President of Seon Design, welcomed Schroth to the position. “We are thrilled to welcome Mel to our growing team. His addition to operations team assures Seon will continue to maintain and exceed its reputation for outstanding product quality,” said Mr Radziejewski. “We welcome Mel’s extensive experience developing inspection and quality control protocols. Such attention to detail will only enhance our goals for further growth in the mobile surveillance industry.”
Mr Schroth said, “This is a challenging role. Seon’s homegrown success is built upon its high product and research standards. The company’s exceptional growth – it has been doubling in size every year for the past few years – makes my role all the more important. As we grow, we don’t want to just meet out current standards for quality – we want to surpass them. We want to raise our current and future customers expectations – to lead the industry in all aspects of the business but foremost with our product quality.”
Mr Schroth’s resume has a range of experiences from conducting design reviews and auditing electronic subassemblies on more than eight audio and video products developed by Panasonic to developing various quality systems and protocols for TIR Systems.
One highlight of his career was to manage and test the installation of a residential high-rise development’s security surveillance and fire alarm system – a project that consisted of more than 1000 CCTV cameras.
Most recently Mr Schroth founded start-up electronics company H3 Technology Phils, the manufacturing arm of H3 Technology GmbH in Langen, Germany.
Mr Schroth has a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering. He also completed his MBA in 1999 at the University of the Philippines. He will be based out of Seon’s corporate headquarters in Coquitlam, BC.
